Fashion designer Ammar Belal at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011 Lahore banged the Act 2 with the “African Safari” collection that carried a high fashion statement for audience and was the treat for wild prints lovers.
After showing his talent at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2010 Karachi fashion designer Ammar Belal latest collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011 Lahore was commendably conceptual aimed to be the most versatile collection from Ammar Belal’s fashion label up till now.

Africa represents the birth of mankind and history of various civilizations that the fashion designer Ammar Belal translated at the ramp through the Meryl Streep from the movie ‘Out of Africa’ being a protagonist to the collection that marked the foundation clothing for both man and woman. To endow safari feel to Ammar Belal collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011 Lahore cotton, twills and linen were paired with suede accents and the tribal collection was showcased in various prints over chiffon, silk and georgette.
Ammar Belal was honored by Singer Annie and stylist Aasma Mumtaz who walked the ramp of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011 Lahore for him.Talking about his collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011 Lahore Ammar Belal said, “The African Safari collection falls in line with the androgynous style that is signature to all the womenswear collections at Ammar Belal but adds a timeless twist making it elegantly approachable”.
Ammar Belal started his carrer as fashion designer in 2003 with streetwear brand A.B.C.D and won Indigo Sunday Designer of the Year award for his prĂȘt collection.
