At Veet Beauty Celebrations 2011 models clad in colorful dresses by Pakistani fashion designer Ali Xeeshan walked the ramp.
Ali Xeeshan’s collection at Veet Beauty Celebrations 2011 reflected beauty and elegance altogether. Singer Ali Zafar also appeared on fashion runway wearing dress by Ali Xeeshan. The Crimson collection by Ali Xeeshan was totally sensual and charismatic alluring viewers while Ali Zafar was singing his “Jhoom Jhoom”.

The formal collection 2011 was an exotic blend of traditional and western vibes displaying a rich spectrum of vibrant colors to pop your eyes out.
The dresses seemed dabbled in funky hues of frisky black, blue, orange, yellow and stitched with perfectly feminine cuts and drapes that never fail to dazzle fashion conscious modern women of Pakistan.

Ali Xeeshan’s latest bridal collection contains a range of pleasant yet traditional colours that have been blended in a modish way to form perfect attire for wedding day. One can see cleanly embellished details making each outfit prettier than the other and is truly customary.

Male fashion models graced up in chivalrous combination of Sherwani and Shalwar portrayed royal elegance as they walked side by side with enchantingly dressed brides of Pakistan. Besides, the show mesmerizingly depicted all the traditions and customs related to marriage ceremonies.
Ravishing embroideries, glittering color combination and shimmery chiffons, silks and velvet depicted historical opulence with a modern style. Semi precious stones of exotic colors were all embellished along dubka, pearls and scintillating sequins on delicately tailored pure chiffons and yummy shades of velvet and silk.
All in all, Ali Xeeshan’s fashion show was the truest personification of Pakistani wedding culture, which is still alive in the hearts of Pakistani people and will be always.

Designer Ali Xeeshan whose Fashion Week collection was entitled "The Phoenix" the inspiration behind this collection was the flower colored heritage and vintage dullness of the gold embellishments of the Kohli tribe in Sindh.
After a short break, PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week’s Day 3 Act 2 was opened by designer Ali Xeeshan whose Fashion Week collection was entitled “The Phoenix”, the mythical bird of great beauty that lives 500 to 600 years and then burns itself on a funeral pyre, only to rise from the ashes reborn anew to live again. The inspiration behind this collection was the flower colored heritage and vintage dullness of the gold embellishments of the Kohli tribe in Sindh, one of the worst flood affected areas. A culture endangered, according to Ali Xeeshan, it is a clean canvas once again and through his collection he wished to revive the Kohli tribe’s colorful past into a brighter future, regaining its essence within a contemporary thought process. Renowned fashion designer Kamiar Rokni walked the ramp for Ali Xeeshan he also display his clothes in charity show called “Fashion Gives Back” in which the Fashion Week and other designers participated featuring live music from the famous band “Fuzon”. The charity show was produced by HSY and styled by Asmaa Mumtaz.
Talking about his designs the designer said “My design philosophy is about working with conventional materials and using them to create unorthodox aesthetics and in that way creating a simple harmony between the traditional and the avant-garde.”Ali Xeeshan is a graduate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (PIFD) and holds an honors degree in Couture and an award for the Best Collection at the institute.
He takes inspiration and stimulation from within the Pakistani culture which the designer feels is still an untapped reserve of creativity. While predominantly a couturier focusing on formal and bridal wear, Ali has also diversified into a diffusion Prêt-à-porter line, a formal collection for men and a complete range of accessories. Ali’s signature style can be found in his use of unusual shades of color and high end luxurious fabrics merged with unconventional embellishment techniques in both traditional and contemporary cuts. Ali Xeeshan showcased his Couture collection “The Lost Romance” at the debut PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week in February 2010.

The silk, chiffon, laces and lame created the perfect embodiment of happiness and revelry.

Ali Xeeshan’s fashion week couture collection is entitled "The (Lost Romance) by Ali Xeeshan". Inspired by days of yore while keeping the political and social scenario in mind.
“My inspiration is drawn from the dust of horses’ hooves. Swordsmen and Archers marching across the field. Honor and the stature of royalty… The woman of tradition wears aatishi gulabi with a tikka of Kohinoor. It’s the Nawab Zadi in the dazzling sun, bare footed, spreading the khushbu of Itar. Humming as mithoo, flirting in her own style. The enlightened crystal elegance in the moonlight.”
Ali Xeeshan’s fashion week couture collection is entitled “The (Lost Romance) by Ali Xeeshan”.
